Tripedition Announces Dates for its Washington DC Cherry Blossom Bus Tours from New York City and Boston

Mar 31, 2014

Tour company offers tours from 1 to 3 days, departing from Boston or New York City.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) March 25, 2014

Tripedition, a leading provider of bus tours from New York City throughout the United States and Canada, has finalized its tour schedule for the upcoming Washington D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival. The famous festival is scheduled from March 20 to April 13. Tripedition’s tours are scheduled from now through April 15 this year. The National Park Service has announced that peak bloom (defined as when 70 percent of the blossoms are open) will be from April 8 – 12 for this year.

The 102nd Cherry Blossom Festival, celebrating the anniversary of the gift of cherry blossom trees from Japan, includes a variety of artistic and cultural events. There are parades, a kite festival and a Japanese festival held throughout the three-plus weeks. The showcase, of course, is the approximately 3,750 cherry blossom trees expected to be in bloom during the festival. (Actual bloom dates will be announced as the festival approaches.)

Tripedition is offering tours of one, two, or three days, depending on the selected departure city. In addition to having plenty of time to view the spectacular site of the Cherry Blossom trees along the Tidal Basin and the Potomac River, customers will also have the opportunity to visit other historic sites around Washington, D.C., including the White House, Capitol building, and monuments such as the Lincoln, Vietnam Veteran, Korean War and Thomas Jefferson memorials. An added attraction of all Tripedition tours is an included Potomac River cruise, providing views of the river bank and all the blooming trees while experiencing a relaxing cruise on the scenic river.

Depending on the tour selected, guests may also stop at such sites as Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania, Hershey’s Chocolate World, the Naval Academy, the Adventure Aquarium, or the cities of Philadelphia, Pa. or Baltimore, Md. Tripedition bus tours include round-trip transportation and accommodations, as well as plenty of time for guests to enjoy the sights on the selected itinerary, while relaxing and leaving the details to Tripedition.

“The Cherry Blossom bus tour to Washington, D.C., was a wonderful experience,” noted a customer who took the tour last year. “The blossoming trees are an incredible sight, and we also got to experience many famous historical and national treasures during our trip. It’s a beautiful way to spend a day or two and a great time of year to visit a fabulous city and celebrate the start of spring.”

“We have several Cherry Blossom tours to choose from, allowing visitors to pick the length of tour that works for them and include additional sights that may interest them,” explains Nan Chen, Manager, Tripedition. “The tours are only offered for a short time and they book quickly. For complete itineraries and pricing, please visit Tripedition.com and view our tour page. After all the winter weather the East Coast has experienced this year, we believe the Cherry Blossom Festival tours we offer will be even more popular this year, as our guests look for fun ways to get outdoors and enjoy the spring.”
