Senior Advisor to the Secretary of State David Thorne to Travel to Singapore and Vietnam

Senior Advisor to the Secretary of State David Thorne will travel to Singapore on August 4; to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on August 5; and to Hanoi, Vietnam on August 6, 2015.

In Singapore, Ambassador Thorne will meet with local business leaders and entrepreneurs.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Ambassador Thorne will visit the Fulbright University in Vietnam and engage with Young Southeast Asia Leadership Initiative (YSEALI) members.

In Hanoi, Ambassador Thorne will participate in an event marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of U.S.-Vietnam diplomatic relations as part of the U.S. delegation led by Secretary of State John Kerry.
