WHEN: Saturday, May 14 at 2 PM

WHERE: 2251 R St NW, Washington, DC 20008

Last month, an unprecedented millions of dead fish washed up along the shores of central Vietnam. Shortly thereafter, seabirds started dying in vast numbers.
– As the ecosystem dies and the people suffer, NO ACCOUNTABILITY has been taken by the Vietnamese government.
– Basic demands for environmental safety and clean water are met with VIOLENCE by the Vietnamese government.

The people of Vietnam are being silenced. Your attendance at this protest will demonstrate that we will not stand for the irresponsible industrial pollution and the inaction of the Vietnam government.

President Obama will be visiting Vietnam on May 22 to shape US-Vietnam relations. Show the President that these issues need to be addressed, and that the environment and the people of Vietnam are important to all Americans.
