As the world turns more into a global economy, with corporations moving executives between offices in different continents, there has been a call for educated business professionals who are knowledgeable about the complexities of doing business overseas and in different cultures. That’s why the master’s in international business is becoming a critical factor in the hiring of business executives.

Christian Amondson, Managing Editor of College Choice, had this to say of the ranking: “So many of our corporations are moving from being national to multinational corporations. This has caused a demand for business professionals who understand the nuances of business, both at home and abroad. But not all business professionals have the education needed to become the international business executives that are now in demand. The best way to advance in business to the executive level is to get a master’s degree in international business.”

This 2016 ranking took into account the university’s programs and academic reputation, overall tuition, student satisfaction, and graduation employment rate. This information was researched using individual school websites, the ranking site U.S. News and World Report, and statistical websites such as the National Center for Education Statistics and Payscale.com.

The College Choice 2016 ranking for Best Master’s in International Business Degree Programs is led by the University of California at Berkeley. It is followed by Harvard University and Stanford University.
