DCBOE Announces Post-Election Audit for November 8, 2016 General Election

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The District of Columbia Board of Elections today announced that the post-election manual audit of unofficial results of the November 8, 2016 General Election will occur at 9:00am on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at One Judiciary Square, Rooms 250N and 1117S.

The Board completes an audit before certifying the outcome of each general election. A random selection of precincts – at least one precinct from each ward, in addition to one District-wide and two ward-wide contests – were selected at random on Tuesday, November 9, 2016. Board staff also selected one additional contest for audit.

A report of the results of the manual audit will be published to the Board’s website.
The District of Columbia Board of Elections is an independent agency of the District government responsible for the administration of elections, ballot access, and voter registration.
