Special performances of rakugo, a traditional Japanese form of comic theater, mark the opening of the landmark exhibition Inventing Utamaro. Actor Katsura Sunshine brings to life a masterwork by the eighteenth-century artist Kitagawa Utamaro, revealing its hidden stories. This performance will be featured on NHK World
