Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week Kicks Off its 17th Year
Diners Can Explore 250 Brunch, Dinner, and Lunch Menus at RWDMV.com
Washington, DC (January 30, 2017)—Restaurants in the metropolitan Washington region open their doors today for Metropolitan Washington Winter Restaurant Week, welcoming guests in for exclusive multi course, fixed priced meals. From now until Sunday, February 5, diners at 250 area restaurants can enjoy $35 dinner, $22 lunch, and next weekend, $22 brunch menus showcasing the energetic restaurant industry in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Guests can still peruse menus and check restaurant availability at www.rwdmv.com, as well as sort restaurants by neighborhood, cuisine, and more.
Generating excitement for local restaurants has always been a focal point of Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week, motivating Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), which produces the promotion, to introduce brunch menus this year. A favorite meal for many Washington-area residents, brunch categories were also recently added to the program at RAMW’s annual RAMMY Awards gala recognizing excellence in service and hospitality professionals in the region. Over 50 restaurants will be serving $22 brunch menus on Saturday, February 4, and Sunday, February 5.
Guests who directly book through www.rwdmv.com and opt in to receive exclusive deals from RAMW, are also eligible to win cookbooks, event tickets, and more as part of the Restaurant Week Diner Rewards program. More information about Restaurant Week and the Diner Rewards program is available on RAMW’s YouTube channel.
Now in its 17th year, this season’s Winter Restaurant Week was made possible with the support of the American Lamb Board, Events DC, Fine European Wines, the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility, GrubHub, and OpenTable.
