“The film follows the story of Sang, a Vietnamese child born in 1967 who never knew his father. After finding that his father is alive in America, he is able to come to the US, but life here is hard to adjust to, and he relies on the local Vietnamese-American community to guide him through difficult and isolating times. “Child of Dust” is a moving, award-winning film. It recently won two awards at the 2025 Krakow Film Festival in Poland, and we are delighted to be presenting it in D.C. at this year’s film festival. It will be showing on Saturday, Feb 14th, and Sunday Feb 15th at Regal Gallery Place cinema in Washington D.C. The director is flying in to attend, and there will be a Q&A after the screening.”
“As for the Q&A session, as many people can come as have bought tickets. If you have a large number of people attending (10-20), we can arrange for a block of seats paid for in advance over PayPal at a discounted rate of 6$ per ticket for 10, 15, or 20 tickets.”
“You are totally free to take non-flash photographs during the Q&A though!”
