Join Bhante Pannakara of the Walk for Peace and the GWU Buddhist Chaplain
for a quiet morning of guided meditation and reflection in the heart of
Washington. Whether you have never meditated before or you sit every day,
you are welcome.
WHAT TO EXPECT
– Three to four short guided meditations, beginner-friendly
– Quiet reflection and mindfulness, outdoors
– A simple explanation of the why and how behind each practice

WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable clothing. Bring a cushion, yoga mat, or small folding chair — the first 175 can get our meditation cushion at the event, on a first-come, first-served basis

This program will feature Bhante Pannakara, a monk from the Walk for Peace, together with the GWU Buddhist Chaplain, for a guided meditation and reflection focused on cultivating calm, compassion, and inner peace.
