Hi Everyone,
I hope this email finds you well! AAJC and APIA Vote will be hosting our second Asian Language Election Protection hotline this November and we are looking for bilingual volunteers in Cantonese and Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, and Bengali. If you are interested in volunteering this year, please contact us. Also, feel free to forward to anyone who may be interested.
WHAT:
· We are looking for bilingual volunteers to be available to answer their phones to translate voters questions to voting experts via conference call. Volunteers will be called by the voting experts to assist with answering voters’ questions in their respective Asian language.
· You must be available to answer your phone during your shift (shifts are below).
· We are giving stipends for volunteers: $50 / shift
· NO knowledge or experience with voting needed. Training is provided.
WHEN: Tuesday, November 5th
Shifts:
5:30am – 10:30am
10:30am – 3:30pm
3:30pm – 9:30pm
