On Father’s Day, VVMF volunteers and staff place thousands of roses at the base of The Wall to honor the fathers who never made it home, the men who never got a chance to start families of their own, and members of the In Memory program.
Each rose is sponsored by a supporter and affixed with a personal note of remembrance. This year, we’ve removed the cap on the number of roses each person can sponsor. You can sponsor as many as you like, and affix up to six different messages to your set. It’s a deeply moving gift for, from, or in honor of your father.
For just $3 per rose, you can be a part of Father’s Day at The Wall. Sponsor one or more roses today.
Be a part of Father’s Day at The Wall
An exciting year for VVMF continues with our Father’s Day rose ceremony. For the first time, we are offering rose sponsorship in honor of members of the In Memory program. In Memory honors those who died as a result of the Vietnam War, but do not meet the Department of Defense criteria for inclusion on The Wall.
If you’re a friend, family member, or fellow veteran of the 58,300 names on The Wall, or those who died as a result of the Vietnam War, sponsoring a rose is a wonderful way to honor their memory on Father’s Day. If you’re not, rose sponsorship helps ensure these brave men will never be forgotten.
