The second annual sideshow extravaganza, Side Yards, at Yards Park. An evening of quirky amusement and wonder beckons DC to let loose while taking in the sights and sounds of the East Coast’s top sideshow performers. Three stages of entertainment will showcase the unusual talents of contortionists, magicians, juggling, escape artists, snake handling, fire breathing, sword swallowing and more.
SideYards will also feature burlesque acts, live music by Justin Jones, delicious eats from neighborhood hot-spots, a photo booth and a beer garden offering craft brews and specialty cocktails by Due South to round out your evening of carnival delights. In addition to SideYards, there are over a dozen great places to eat and drink right there in The Yards to enjoy and extend your evening.
Enjoy a crisp fall evening under the cover of the SideYards big top on the Anacostia Waterfront, near Nationals Park — and see why The Yards has become one of the most exciting neighborhoods in DC! The event will be tented and will happen regardless of weather.
