As likely to take place in a college dorm as in ancient Pompeii, the stories feature a diverse cast of characters and their miscommunications, from Alexander Graham Bell frustrated in reaching someone by phone, to a couple whose email exchange is hijacked by a relative obsessed with Bosnia.
