Go big or go home: North End Shaw celebrates cherry blossom season with a sumo-sized Sunday!Professional Sumo Wrestlers, Sumo-inspired Bites From Chef Katsuya Fukushima of Daikaya and the Soon-to-Open Haikan, and More Available to Public on Sunday, April 3
Post-match, participants can refuel by enjoying Sumo-inpsired savory bites from Katsuya Fukushima, Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Daikaya Ramen and Izakaya and the soon-to-open sapporo-style ramen shop Haikan, who will be onsite serving up tastes of Chanko Nabe – a Japanese stew often eaten by Sumo-wrestlers in large quantities in order to aid in weight-gain.
