In celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month and as part of our annual birthday salute to Ella Fitzgerald, SAAM presents the Smithsonian Masterworks Jazz Ensemble. Recognizing the “first lady of song’s” rich repertoire, they perform works that span Fitzgerald’s extensive career and highlight the timelessness of her work.
