The 2016 Capitol Christmas Tree lighting will be held on December 6th on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree will be lit by the Speaker of the House, Paul D. Ryan and Isabella Gerad, a fifth grader from Boise.
