SECOND ANNUAL EVENTS DC SUMMER MOVIE SERIES RETURNS TO GATEWAY DC
Weekly Outdoor Series to Feature Family-Friendly Movies and Activities
WASHINGTON, DC (July 7, 2017) – Events DC, the official convention and sports authority for the District of Columbia, is partnering with the Office of the Deputy Mayor of Greater Economic Opportunity, DC Office of Film and Television, and the Washington Informer for the second annual outdoor Summer Movie Series at Gateway DC presented by RCN beginning Wednesday, July 12. Entry opens at 6:00 p.m. and movies will start at dusk.
This year, the free series will be held at one location—Gateway DC (2400 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE) —on Wednesday evenings featuring family-friendly movies selected by Congress Heights community members, and will include inflatable rides, games, music and food (while supplies last). Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and snacks; glass containers and alcohol are prohibited.

Each week, attendees who RSVP at eventsdcmovies.eventbrite.com will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $50 Dick’s Sporting Goods (2470 Market St NE) gift card.
