Petworth Arts Collaborative presents a 3-day celebration of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) along Upshur St & Georgia Ave.

Altar Making Workshop
Where: Petworth Community Market – 9th St & Upshur St NW
– Participate in an altar making workshop honoring loved ones and learn about the history of this rich Mexican holiday. Bring a momento of a loved one, we will supply the altar-making materials!
* Coffee & Mexican hot Chocolate samples provided by Ruta del Vino.
*** Collaborating with us is Lalalu Mexican Art and Events by David Rosa who will have a table with us selling tickets for their awesome Dia de los Muertos DC Benefit Festival on NOV 4 at 3pm at 100 Florida AVE NE / Femme Fatale Pop-Up (100% of proceeds go towards natural disaster relief for the United States & Mexico).

Where: At venues along Upshur St & Georgia Ave NW
– Join us for a special themed Petworth First Fridays showcasing loca DC Student works honoring their loved ones through performance and visual arts.
