Due to the inclement weather forecast for Saturday, March 23, BLOOMAROO HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO SATURDAY, MARCH 30.
The event timeline will remain the same. We look forward to celebrating the blossoms with everyone on Saturday, March 30.
Celebrate Spring at the Home of the Cherry Blossoms®. Visit The Wharf on March 30, 2024 for Bloomaroo®. A free spring extravaganza featuring a full day of cherry-blossom themed art, music, fireworks, and family-friendly fun along the waterfront! We’ll cap it all off with our blossom fireworks finale.
ACTITIVITES & FIREWORKS:
10am-11am — Kickoff the day with yoga on Transit Pier with District Flow Yoga. Get your zen on while gazing at the cherry blossom trees in East Potomac Park. Purchase a ticket on Eventbrite to join us.
2pm-5pm — Get your photo with the incredible cherry blossom-themed stilt walkers.
2pm-6pm — Activities throughout Wharf Street include koi kite decorating, a haiku station, karaoke on the Pearl Street Stage, crafts, face painting, and a Japanese tea ceremony station.
2pm-8pm — Bring your own roller skates and join GetYourSk8On at The Wharf Roller Rink on Transit Pier. Skate for free and listen to hits by DJ Swizzy. All ages welcome!
2pm-9pm — Grab a drink at our Cherry Blossom Beer Garden on District Pier.
7pm — Head to our piers to watch the pink boat parade on the Channel.
8:30pm — Blossom Fireworks Finale.

2pm-3:15pm — Enjoy country hits by Shane Gamble.
3:45pm-4:45pm — La Unica sizzles with Latin/Celtic takes on your favorite songs.
4:45pm-5:15pm — Nen Daiko Japanese Drumming performance.
5:15pm-6:15pm — The famous Chuck Brown Band brings you DC’s own Go-Go.
6:45pm-9pm — Charlie Puth meets Adam Levine when the Royals close out Bloomaroo with an amazing lineup of songs from the 90s through today.
