Music! Food! Fun! Join us for another Kennedy Center Block Party hosted by Education Artist-in-Residence and award-winning author Jacqueline Woodson! Free performances, fun-filled games, and various activities will be programmed on the REACH grounds all afternoon, featuring artists with roots in the Washington, D.C. area.
Pre-registration for this event has closed, but the Block Party is FREE and open to anyone who attends. We’re excited to see you!

Join us for another Kennedy Center Block Party hosted by Education Artist-in-Residence and award-winning author Jacqueline Woodson! Fort building with Arts on the Horizon
Breakdancing and graffiti demos with Words, Beats & Life
Rollerskating demos with Our Family Skate Association
An exciting variety of vendors will be onsite, including all-natural bath and beauty manufacturer Hunnybunny Boutique, home fragrance company Frères Branchiaux Candle Co., and lifestyle apparel brand Black Men Smile.
Food and refreshments will also be available for purchase from local food trucks.
