WASHINGTON, Nov. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — This Saturday, hundreds of participants are expected to gather on the National Mall for the 3rd Annual Friendship Walks – A Walk to End Homelessness hosted by Friendship Place. The fun, family friendly 1.5 mile event will be emceed by EZ Street from 93.9 WKYS and will include nearly 100 Fannie Mae staff members as well as students from local schools and universities.
This year’s Friendship Walks will feature notable figures in the fight to end homelessness including Executive Director of the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness Matthew Doherty, DC Councilmember Mary Cheh and AT&T Maryland, Washington, D.C., & Delaware President Denis Dunn. The event’s headline sponsor is AT&T.
